The Rahm Celebrity Golf Tournament
A love for golf and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital brought actor Kevin Rahm and tournament chairman Clarke Rheney together for this inaugural tournament hosted at the beautiful, historic grounds of the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, FL. This four-day event starts with An Evening With Nashville Songwriters Night on Thursday night. Friday night kicks off with a Pairings Party for golfers and their guests followed by the St. Jude Jam on Friday night. The golf tournament on Saturday and Sunday will pair each foursome with a celebrity player. The Jam is a rock variety show that features 4+ hours of hits by rock and roll legends and hall-of-famers accompanied by house band Sixwire, made up of some of the best studio musicians in Nashville. Saturday night’s Soiree will include red carpet appearances by tournament celebrities, live and silent auctions, dinner and entertainment. The weekend will conclude on Sunday afternoon with an awards luncheon for all golfers. With this special event, we are extending our reach and deepening our commitment to raising the necessary funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
In 2020, SwingJuice committed to our first Rahm event. We designed a “concert T-shirt” for the Jam session night that was to be sold for $25 with all proceeds going to St. Jude. We were also slated to host a catered taco party on course, where we would give out Golf & Tacos T-shirts, koozies and stickers to all golfers. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to attend in 2020 but are looking forward to the 2021 event.
