Marc Leishman is a five-time winner on the PGA TOUR. He has played in almost 300 tour events earning a total of $30 million dollars, thus far. Marc has been on four International President’s Cup teams. He and his wife Audrey have 3 adorable children. Audrey doesn’t play golf, she honestly doesn’t like sports at all, but she is incredibly supportive of Marc and is one of the nicest souls you will ever meet. In 2015, Audrey suffered a very near-fatal illness from Toxic Shock Syndrome and Acute Respiratory Syndrome. Shortly after she regained strength, The Begin Again Foundation was born of her desire to help others affected by the illness and spread awareness about TSS, ARDS and Sepsis. Because SwingJuice has a personal connection to the Leishmans, we wanted to support their cause. We teamed up with them to create a new design that we could launch and promote during Sepsis Awareness Month, September 2020. If you follow Marc Leishman at all, you likely know how much he loves lawns. Yes, that’s right, he is obsessed with lawn maintenance. He mows his yard with a golf course mower and rides like a kid at Christmas. He also enjoys a fine lager. Thus, Leishman Lager, from Back Bay Brewing Company, was created. Marc told Jon Mason, SwingJuice creative director and founder, to take on the design ideation for the shirt we were to collaborate on, and we figured, he’s not the only guy that likes to work on his yard and drink beer. Jon came up with two designs. One that features Marc on a mower and one modeled after the Leishman Lager branding. Both have Landscapes and Lagers on the shirt. Perfect.
