I was sitting at my computer thinking about what this week's #HADF should be.  Believe it or not, I was drawing some serious blanks.  Finally I thought of good friend to Swing Juice, American legend, best flow to ever play the game, jersey breezing down the center of the sheet hockey hero, Mike Modano. Mike Modano and Rabbit Hole Brewing teamed up awhile ago to make a Kolsch-style beer that is a "clean, crisp, yet deceptively complex brew which features a delicate balance between soft malt and a subtle fruity hoppiness."  I have yet to have it myself, but if...

Having a drink, especially on #HADF, is best when done in some sort of social setting. A big advantage to having a few friends that have good taste in beer is that you can get together to combine your efforts and have a few different great beers in one night. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it here, but I was fortunate enough to enjoy a couple of pints of Guiness during layovers in Dublin, Ireland. I've always heard that Guiness in the UK is different than Guiness in...

The original version of Revolution's Straight Jacket was a barley wine ale aged in one Jack Daniels barrel and one Heaven Hill Rye whiskey barrel which resulted in a complex beer that wasn't for the faint of heart. While I'm not claiming any knowledge of what barrels they're using now (I know they switched to Woodford Reserve around 2012, don't know if they've stuck with them), but I've been fortunate enough to have three different versions of Straight Jacket. So far I've enjoyed the 2016 bottle release, the 2014 bottle release, and then 2017 on Nitrous which has been mind...
